Great media
I've used these CDRs for a while and they have been great for me. I've never had any problems and all the cd's i burn turn out clean and clear. I reccomend this for anyone who wants inexpensive, quality blank CDR media.

Quality, reliable CD-R media
I burn a lot of stuff, from data archives to mp3-ripped music. Though a lot of my data ends up on CD-RW's (I download the newest Linux .iso images as they come out, back up my system, etc and do it again the next week), whenever I permanently record something I prefer it be on TDK CD-Rs. Why? I have used TDK, Imation, Memorex, and generic CD-R's in the 3 years since I got a burner, and only the TDK and Imations have lasted without a single disk dying. I cannot vouch as forcefully for the Imations because I only have a few of them, but I have a lot of TDK's, and not one has failed me yet.
I just bought this exact spindle, and after burning half the disks, I can say the TDK experience hasn't changed, and I expect the same life out of these that I've gotten out of countless TDK's in the past. Want your burns to last? Use TDK.

Beware - these may be now Ritek
TDK CDRs made in Japan by TDK are very high quality, however the last shipment of the TDK 50 pack I received are Taiwanese Ritek made, which have a very poor reputation. Before you purchase these CDRs be sure you are getting Japanese made CDRs!

good quality
These TDK's are among my favorites. They are my choice for "all-purpose" burning. (For archiving, I use KODAK GOLD ULTIMA blanks...)
The TDK's are a good value and I never have problems using them in my Plextor cd-burner at 12x-speed. And they play audio fine in both my home and car cd-players.

These are the best!
For some reason, my Gateway Burner and CD Creator software didn't work with Memorex or Prime CDRs. The only similarity I could find was that they were up to 16x compatible and the Imation and TDKs were up to 12x compatible. Don't know if that has anything to do with it but I didn't have one bad TDK or Imation CDR!
