Nice effect - Bad flare

(3 out of 5) by Jeffrey R. Hurren on Apr 20, 2009 (Detroit)
Good - the ability to quickly get superb color & effect is a lot of fun. Bad - terrible lens flare anytime the camera is at all facing the general direction of light sources.
Verdict - Good enough for a hobbyist like me for now but I will definitely spend the $$$ next time on a higher quality product

Good fitler

(4 out of 5) by H. H. Huang on Nov 8, 2009 (California, USA)
This filter does the work very well. The only issue when used on the Canon EOS camera is that the lens cap does not fit tightly. For the price, it is a good filter.

Photo color and contrast

(5 out of 5) by L. P. Rankin on Sep 3, 2008 (Vancouver, BC)
Tiffen's circular polarizer may not be the cheapest but it is worth the price. It effectively removes atmospheric haze in landscape and city photographs. Colors have deeper tones without appearing artificial, creating a crisper image with enhanced depth. I consider it essential equipment for anyone who wants more than a simple aim-shoot photograph. Highly recommended.

assembled backwards, ad nauseam

(1 out of 5) by EP on Apr 3, 2004 (Ohio)
Save your money. Had seen others write that filter was assembled backwards and other flaws. They were right.

Cheaply designed and made. Get a Heliopan from Adorama, you'll be very pleased.

Awesome

(5 out of 5) by J. Figueroa on Aug 27, 2009
I-LOVE-THIS-FILTER!!!! This makes my outdoor pictures so much better and cuts down on light and saturates colors. I keep this on my main lens at all times.
