Adobe Photoshop 6.0 proves to be very useful and very flexible, however its overall effect of being very similar to Illustrator slightly disturbs me. I prefer to use 5.5, perhaps I just haven't shined to 6.0 yet... Oh well, still very useful.

With the new features in 6.0, Adobe has made it even more intuitive to use Photoshop. Finally they've added some decent text formatting. Importing text gets ridiculous after a while so this will help out quite a bit.

I don't see how Adobe can ever stop upgrading Photoshop. There's still so many features left unimplemented, and many never thought of before. This particular upgrade is worth the money but they sure are coming awfully fast. Maybe it would be wise for them to package two upgrades into one. LOL, they'd never do that. They'd lose money.

I am a high school student and work with Adobe Photoshop in my literary magazine class. It is truly amazing. I wish I could afford my own copy. For now I have to stay after school if I want to enjoy all the great things you can do with PS. I have Paint Shop Pro 6 at home - which is not as great as PS but cost much less.

I create websites, do webgraphics and love to draw and color my pictures and amazingly, this expensive little program dilivers it all. It has some of the best options and is easy to learn after you get the experienced needed. To add to the effect of this program you may add plugins which will add kool effects such as sun flares or lighting. (recommendations:eye candy, xenofex, Kai's Powertools). Download a demo of Adobe 5.5 at www.adobe.com and you will see how much it delivers. Now think about how much the newest version of Photoshop will deliver. Boggles the mind huh? Buy this if you are really serious about any type of grahpics business, or leisure activity.

I must say Adobe makes fine Products, but I do not see much of a difference in version 5 than in 6. ???????? I do recommend this software, Adobe makes fantastic software.
