BIG on Size and BIG on Quality!
(5 out of 5) by Chi G Tran on Jan 13, 2001 (Los Angeles, CA USA)As a web designer who spends a lot of time on graphics, I needed a big monitor. Well, actually I needed two. I bought the 19" monitor to go with a Diamond Viper 32mb accelerated graphics card and run two monitors on my pc. The old monitor is a 15" and the only setback I have with the situation is the motherboard (600mhz Athlon) won't let me change which monitor I want as the default monitor. So at start-up, all my programs start on the 15" monitor and I have to drag them to the 19". But I'm not complaining - I am THRILLED with the 19" monitor.
The 19" monitor has been wonderful. The quality of view is excellent, there is no blurriness or fuzziness anywhere. The images are crisp and clear. The fun thing is if you really want to impress someone with your monitor size, change your settings to 1600x1200 and watch their eyes pop out. Even at that size resolution the screen is clear. That's what I'm using right now and although I don't recommend it because the type is SOOOO small... it's just amazing that a monitor can handle that with the grace and superior ability that this monitor has.

Good display and customer service from Sceptre

The Sceptre monitor is very easy on the eyes; I use it at 1280x1024 and like the display. After 4 months of use, though, it died completely and wouldn't turn on. It was returned to Sceptre and they repaired it and returned it quickly; it's now back in use and I'm still happy with the quality of the image.

Unbelievably sharp text

Text is much sharper than on my previous Acer monitor...It is as good as monitors costing much more. There is no distortion anywhere on the screen and the controls are very easy to use. Truly a great buy. I understand Sceptre makes monitors for several other companies so they are not a no-name brand. I have already recommended this monitor to my friends.

come up with a reason not too! I shopped around
and could not come up with a better deal.There's
no built in mic. but you shouldn't want one.If you
need a mic. you should spend the money for a good
one.I did find another monitor,an AOC,from Accubyte.com
but with the shipping the price soared...!!!
