I have two years with this and the 36 ports version of this switchs and both work very well, the people at the nerwork don't need to know what is they NIC speed to connect to the network and is very usefull if you have a mixed speed clients, because you don't need one network for 10 Mbits and other for 100 Mbits. At this moment I bought one 5 port version of this switch to build a beowulf cluster, because the perfrom of D-link network products is realy Great and cheap that other options.

Works good. The smaller switches slide or tip over when you get 10 or more CAT5 cables connected. Especially when your using it for home and lab practice uses. Usually you disconnect cables for different scenarios quite often. I highly recommend for techs practicing their CCNA or MCITP exams.
