If all you need is a great stereo receiver - and NO 5.1 or DOLBY surround - then this is the unit for you. Simple to install and operate. Very clean sound and plenty of power. One or two more inputs wounld't hurt, but overall you can't beat the deal on this receiver. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a basic stereo receiver that has plenty of clean power. Great buy.

In the "good things you can count on" department, Sony once again offers a receiver lineup that satisfies the wide variety of home entertainment desires. And from the least expensive model up you get rock solid dependability, clear, dynamic sound, and the latest technology at super-affordable prices. For music fans (and for rooms where you don't need a home theater), the STR-DE135 stereo receiver delivers the audio "basics" and more. It treats your music right with 100 watts per channel for smooth, low-distortion sound. You get 4 audio inputs for your music sources (CD, MiniDisc, cassette, etc.) Select AM/FM stations using the 30 memory presets, or tune them in directly via the number buttons on the receiver's front panel. It also included remote keeps you in control. Overall, great price with great value.
