Pre-Amp from Audiosource is a great device. Works as designed. I do hear a slight tick when changing inputs but not a deal breaker.
ANTONLINE was fine to deal with.

Audiosource preone/A preamplifier
This is a great product if you want to control several componets of your stereo system. Works really good with the Audiosource Stereo Grafic Equalizer. Worth the money.

Good Pre-Amp over-all. Bare bones preamp. Needs a final main amp to work correctly. Good for a den, but not for a bedroom or for low, soft sounds. The regular amp. which is suppose to match up to this preamp, has a cutout switch, which is VERY annoying. It has a auto 0n/Off switch which is suppose to engage the line input constantly, but that does not work very well. Under moderate or loud volume this preamp/amp setup is fine. It's only so so in a bedroom environment.

Works as expected. Had no response from the dealer for extended specifications after inquiring several times. Wanted to know the power consumption and if the volume control was a true audio semi-log taper. The unit pulls 5.4 watts and does have a good audio taper, but had to buy the box to find that out. Many manufactures use a linear control which is wrong! The balance control is too close to the volume control. I've pulled the balance knob which leaves a gapping hole, but no longer tweak balance when intending volume. Balance should have been one of the smaller knobs like Bass and Treble and further from the volume control. Input select is lost with power down. The reason for buying the unit is to go green. Adding a 20 watt class-d power amp to the stack has reduced the idle power from the previous Panasonic VSX-9300 from 67 watts to 12 watts. Panasonic has been retired.
Just what I was looking for
I didn't expect much from this unit based on the price, but I was pleasantly
surprised and extremely happy with this purchase. I'm using it with a Adom Power Amp and AR3A speakers and it sounds great. I just wish it came with a remote but still it's a great bargain and is just what I needed. Don't let the low cost fool you, it's a quality unit (not "high end" gear but fills the need).
