Good buy, at a reasonable price

I purchased this item quite some time ago, and it has definitely lived a long life life living with 5 guys who watch DVD's all day. It has great clarity, and the VSS sound is great for those of us who can't afford Dolby Digital sound. Overall it is worth the price because Panasonic is a good brand. I am satisfied, and that is not easy sometimes!

GREAT DEAL FOR THE MONEY!
(4 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jan 10, 2001This has been a wonderful purchase. I've enjoyed watching many DVD movies with no problems. It is easy to hook up for those not so knowledgable about hooking up electronics. It provides a great picture. The remote is very easy to use. My only complaint is that in the store the display said the remote was backlit but it is not. Other than that, I highly recommend this player. You'll never watch a VHS tape again.

#1. It Doesnt Support MP3 CD's,
#2. It Doesn't Read CD-R's.
#3. It Doesnt Play Video Disc's.
It Says That It Supports Video CD's, Yeah Of Course It Plays DVD's but It Doesn't play video disc's burned to a CD-R. I Would Not reccommend this DVD player to anyone. It Doesn't Do much of anything.

good price and good product
(4 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Feb 22, 2001bought this dvd player around christmas 2000, wanted something of good quality for a good price. ive been very pleased with it and have watched many dvd's since then with no problems at all.it was easy to hook up and remote is easy to figure out.over all am very happy with product and the service i recived from amazon.com
