As my wife calls it 'THE BIG EYE', the Sony 61" TV is GREAT! The picture quality is very bright (or any way you wish to adjust it) in any light condition. There are 3 pre-set picture types and 2 others that you can adjust yourself. The audio section can fill our large family room with 'full sound' at any listening level. All hook-ups on the rear panel support any additional equipment that you might need to hook-up, including 's' video inputs. I have a DVD player, Direct TV, and VHS Recorder all going into this. The remote may control all of your other components. The TV weighs about 180lbs., but it is on wheels, so it may be rolled quite easy. We did purchase the optional screen protector for it, but it had too much glare, so we returned it.
