This tv is great for the price. its has great color but the only thing is its not a stero tv. So if you like sound you might wanna buy a stero for it.but all around is a great tv

This is the worst TV that I have ever seen in my whole life!

I bought this series Toshiba 19" TV in September 1996 in a Bestbuy store. For the first couple of years, it worked fine. Then, last year, it started to have horizontal white flashes across the screen. Fortunately, I had a four-year warranty. So I brought the TV back to the store. It took them about 2 weeks to fix it. After a year, last month, the TV died on me. The sound was OK but there was no picture, just a black screen. This time, it took the store almost 6 weeks to fix it. When I turned it on, its color was messed up. It seemed that the green color gun did not work, so everything is purple-ish. When I tried to turn the color off, the color is not black and white, but purple-ish grey.

After this nightmare, I decided to throw it away although I still have two months warranty. I am convinced this is just not worth the effort and energy. I have a ten years-old 19" Zenith TV at my dining room, it still works fine.

It's not like I was misusing it for a long time. I kept it in the same place and never moved it. The room was not dusty or damp or anything. Everything was perfect for a TV.

Don't buy this one unless you want a nightmare!

This television has a great picture and very ample viewing area for its size. It is reasonably priced and remote has as much control as you could possibly want. The channels all come in clear and vivid even on standard television reception. A highly recommended product.
