High quality-exceptional value

I recently attended the Audubon Camp in Maine. In need of new binoculars, I ordered this Meade product. I can't say enough on how pleased I was with the clarity, and ease of use in bringing into focus birds and other wildlife,and studying land and seascapes.Another attribute of this binocular is its relative light weight. It was indeed a pleasure to use this binocular and others attending the program were also impressed with its quality.

Received my order and find the binoculars to be exceptionally sharp/clear, easy to focus, and the zoom feature is great...clear vision over the whole zoom range! An exceptional buy for the money!

outstanding bang for the buck!

Very happy with my purchase. For the money, I haven't seen any other binoculars that come close to these. To go up a notch in quality would cost several hundred dollars more - these are really an excellent value.

A lot of bang for the buck, a solid buy.

Great Buy, a lot of value for the price, and not too many faults.

Advantages of this model:

1. Very light to carry around. It comes with the a strap so you can put this around your neck, (not recommended see below disadvantages), or as I like to carry it in its comfortable nylon case. The case fits nicely around your shoulder, and because it is so light you will not be too bothered. 2. Nicely engineered. You can zoom in and out by sliding a lever near the right eyepiece. This is very convienient as you do not have to stop looking through it to find the zoom lever. The focus dial is also convieniently positioned, again so so you do not have to stop what you are looking at to find the dial. Sounds like something all binoculars should have, but sadly not all have this convienience.

3. Comfortable eyepiece suitable for young and old alike. Very comfortable to view through, no discomfort around the eyes. Also this was comfortable for my children to use as well. No "racoon eyes" from prolonged use.

4. Zoom, very very good zoom on this model. If you don't know what 24x50 zoom means, I can make out lisence plates on cars going across the Coronado Bridge, about 3000 feet from my apartment. Hard to top that.

Disadvantages:

There are not many, in fact just one complaint from me. The neck strap is too darn small. It fits around my neck like a choker, (neck size is 17). Not comfortable carrying it around like that. Have the impression that this may be a wrist strap that they named a neck strap.

Great Binoculars.

This product is great, I looked at a few other models but this one was the right one for me, it comes with a carrying bag and lent cloth. in fact the reason why I went with Meade is because I bought a Meade model ETX-90EC Astro Telescope both items are great. I use the Binoculars for shows or concerts you can see every thing! thanks meade
