Panasonic DVD-LV75 Portable DVD-Video Player
WOW!
I shopped around and this unit was a dream compared to the others. Excellent graphics, video display and sound quality. The credit card like remote is great and effective. Highly recommend purchase with an S Video cable, and an extra battery.

Great toy!
I bought this unit based on reviews from different sites and I am not disappointed. If you are wearing headphones the sound is awesome. The picture is absolutely gorgeous. We are flying to FL in June (I hate to fly!) and I bought this to have a distraction. If you have the $ it is truly a great piece of equipment!

Disappointed
After reading the reviews and doing my own research on the LV75, I thought i was in for a good buy considering the price.
All went well the first two weeks until the player started hanging and failing to read disks.I had only watched around six DVD's and had not even charged the battery once since i was running it through the mains.
It would literaly say reading and would not pick up the disk for up to half an hour when i eventualy tried to turn it off and it would not even do that, it just hung. I thought perhaps it would just be a once off failure but then it started happening regularly, so i took it back to Panasonic and am currently waiting for a decision regarding an exchange.
I must say for the first six DVD's I was able to watch, it was brilliant!!, Maybe i just bought a Dud, lets see if Panasonic comes through or not!!

Great toy particularly for those travelling frequently
This is a great toy and having owned it for two months and compared it in stores with other models, I'm very happy with my choice. The on screen display is a pile of mystic symbols but lets face it, you probably never will need to switch most of these options. It works well on flights, charges quickly, and is also a real bonus when at a vacation home. If you are in hotels a couple of weeks a year I would higly recommend it but, it is a good chunk of change, so if you aren't away from home too much you may not get enough use out of it. If you are able to spare the money then this is a fun gadget.
