I absoloutely love this CD player. With all the bonus's like the car adapter and the stereo adapter, it's great. It also sounds awesome with the 1 bit digital to analog converter and the 40-second antishock protection. If you wan't a good CD player and don't wan't to spend a lot of money, get this.

Great CD player!

This player looks classy, and plays great! It comes with all the stuff you'll need to connect it to anything, car hookup, headphones, connectors to speakers, electric plugin, car cigarette lighter plugin, plus it runs on batteries. Comes with a nice CD wallet. I drive lots of rough roads, and it doesn't skip a beat. I'm really pleased with it, and it is really worth the price!

It's worth the 60 dollars. I'm happy I got it.

I bought this CD player because it came with the car adapter and it was cheap. I mean, you get a regular ac adapter, a car cigarette lighter adapter, a car cassette deck adapter, plus the cable to plug into your home stereo system. It's a steal at 60 bucks.
I find it skips a little when I walk fast and carry it loose in my bag. could be due to the way the 40 second buffer works, ie if you skip to song 15, it plays right away, but the buffer takes time to fill so you may skip. in my car it never skipped, even when it fell off the seat onto the floor.
The sound is good. at really high volumes it's not perfect. Good headphones are a requirement, I already had some. Sounds very good in my car too, though not like a high end cd player. the adapter cables look thin and may not hold up over time. My car adapter may be broken, because much more sound comes out of the right than the left channel. I would send it back but I love having it so much I don't want to part with it.
If you have high requirements, you should probably go elsewhere, but I am very happy with mine. I think if you run, then perhaps an MP3 player with no moving parts is the way to go.

Hard Core Runner...

(4 out of 5) by Jared Brosch on May

Well, I like to consider myself a "runner" not a jogger. I went running with this unit, and I put it in a "strap-on" carrying case. It would last about a minute and then die (although you could do jumping jacks for the minute if you wanted). If I hold the unit and control my arm swinging slightly its fine. I doubt any player will hold up to the rigors of true running. It is a FANTASTIC unit with great sound and quality construction. I am slightly dissapointed after reading the editorial and expecting to run without a worry...take heed and enjoy! It is a GREAT value and a wonderful player, but there are limits to everything I suppose...

Very Good Value

This is a very good cd player. I mainly use it in my car, but it has never skipped or given me any problems. The main reason why I like this product is because it reads cd-r discs perfectly. I have had a lot of problems with even big expensive stereos reading my TDK burned cd's. But this player gives you great sound for both regular and cd-r discs. It is a steal at this price (especially when you don't have to buy a car stereo and get pressured to buy a $300+ system). I would much rather replace this product 5 times because the sound quality is just as good as an internal system in your car.
