Pioneer PD-F1009 301
Great invention to those who don't want to be attached to an IPOD, and like an updated version of a "juke box". Easy to use, load, unfortunately however, it requires an receiving unit to broadcast the sound.

juke box cd player*** bad item
We have many Christmas CD's and others. The ability to random play is great. The remoted control did not work. The Pioneer people after a few phone switches promised that a new one is in the mail. It is only one month; but it should arive any day. *** I had hoped the remote that was all that was wrong. Product control must be off. I will now have to ship it back. the syptem will not allow me to change review from 3 star to the one star I would now give it.

I hate this thing!
It's plugged into my tuner but I still have to turn it on independently; it takes forever to select a track in random play; if random play is an option when listening to a customized play list, I can't figure out how to activate it; I can't get the 'best' option to work, and I can't play the adjacent disc without stopping the current disc, selecting '+/-' on the remote and then hitting the play button again. Granted, I'm neither an audiophile nor a rocket scientist and I'm no spring chicken either, but I shouldn't have to be any of those things in order to play my cds without getting aggravated. If I had another $300 to burn, I'd get something a LOT more user friendly. Like the SONY disc changer I used to have.

Don't Buy this Crap!
I bought one of these things and no sooner had I got 300 discks loaded into it when the damned thing stopped working. I had to unload all the discs by hand and now the machine sits in a closet gathering dust.
