High quality and low cost

(5 out of 5) by Richard Clayton on Mar

These Memorex blank CDs are simply the best combination anywhere of high quality and low cost. Three factors make these discs stand out as your best buy:
First of all, they are rated for burning at up to 16x, which is nice for those with fast CD-ROM burners. Sometimes you'll find that substandard media won't REALLY burn as fast as the label claims, which is very annoying. With these Memorex discs, however, I've NEVER experienced a problem with diminished burn speed. They cook perfectly at 16x every time.
Second is reliability. Out of my last spindle I had NOT A SINGLE DEFECTIVE CD. Not one defective CD out of fifty blanks! Quite remarkable, considering that many blank CD vendors consider a 10-15% failure to be acceptable.
Finally, the low cost of these excellent discs- just fifty cents each- is hard to beat...
If you are in need of blank recordable CDs, look no further. You won't find a better choice anywhere.

Memorex is GREAT

Over the past 6 months or so, I've bought 3 spindles from Memorex, and they've all been fine. I haven't had a problem with any of the CD's, and they play on all computers and stereos.. Memorex is also very easy to deal with if you have any problems.

Excellent value!

In my opionion, Memorex has developed very high quality CDR for a good price compared to their competitors such as Sony and HP. This 80 minute Memorex CDR spindle is the best bang for the buck. I've tried the 80 min Memorex and have no problems with them. I wrote data onto about 40 of these 80 min CDRs are they were all perfect. Extremelly durable and reliable.

Never had any problems with this brand of CD-R, plus I find them to be an exceptional value. I have only had one error inthe 150 or so I have used. Great for both audio and data.

Good value on a good brand...

Overall a good value. I had only a couple of unusable discs in the spindle, a few caused by the fact that it is in a spindle rather than individual cases. Only one little gripe: That the bottom CD had some sort of quality inspection stamp on the data side of the disc! This made it unusable! Why not at LEAST put it on the label side? Still good discs at a decent price.
