Ok for DVDs, but needs some work

(3 out of 5) by Nathan C on Mar 20, 2000 (Los Angeles, CA)
First of all there is something wrong with it's construction. It's hard to explain. There are these tabs inside that get in the way, and because of these every other dvd doesn't go in right. What I had to do was get some pliers and tear them out. Took like 10 min. I know it's hard to understand what I'm talking about, but once you get it you will understand. After I got rid of these tabs it worked fine. Of course I shouldn't have to do this for it work correctly. Just giving fair warning. I recommend it if you don't mind modifying it.

Fantastic tower unit for VHS/DVD storage

(5 out of 5) by Dean Jackson on Jul 13, 2005 (Washington, DC United States)
First of all, I don't know what the two previous reviewers are talking about. VHS tapes are stored sideways in the tower, not length wise (the tower can hold 25 VHS tapes in this position), and the slots accommdate nicely 2 DVDs each, which means one can store 50 DVDs in the tower. I can only assume misunderstanding of correct positioning of VHS/DVDs in the tower by the other reviewers here. Anyway, buy this unit before it sells out. I don't think Laserline is making them anymore.

This Holds nothing it says it does.

I followed the previous gentlemans advise on this product. Even with the tabs pulled out, this is a piece of crap. I couldn't get any of the items to fit with or without the tabs. Neither VHS or DVD fit in this thing. Don't waste your money. Someone with an IQ will come along with a cheaper one.
