IN REVEIWING YOUR SPECS ON THE POLOROID 700 I NOTICED THAT YOU HAVE DOWN THAT THE 700 DOES NOT HAVE USB INTERFACE YOUR SPECS ARE WRONG IT DOES HAVE USB INTERFACE AND WORKS VERY WELL JUST WANTED TO LET READERS KNOW THAT AS FAR AS THE 700 POLOROID DIGITAL CAMERA IT IS A VERY GOOD BUY AND PERFOMANCE IS FANTASTIC THE ONLY THING I HAVE AGAINST IT IS IT LIKES TO DRAIN BATTERYS PRETTY FAST I WOULD RECOMMEND BUYING RECHARGABLE BATTERYS POLOROID DID A GOOD JOB IN BUILDING THIS CAMERA

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST DIGITAL CAMERA YOU CAN PURCHASE THAT ISAT LEAST 1 MEGA-PIXEL UNDER ... MY WIFE AND I SPENT ALOT OF TIME CHECKING OUT DIGITAL CAMERA'S OVER THE PAST FEW WEEK'S, TO USE TO TAKE PICTURE'S OF CAVE'S AND VACATIONS, AND FINALLY DECIDED ON THIS CAMERA. THE VALUE OF THE CAMERA ALONG WITH ALL THE EXTRA'S YOU GET IS WELL WORTH IT(4 MEG BUILT INTO CAMERA AND UPGRADE OF MEMORY,USB SUPPORT AND CABLE'S,FINALLY WHAT MOST CAMERA'S DO NOT PROVIDE A/C ADAPTER) i MUST SAY THE PICTURE'S ARE SOME OF THE BEST I'VE SEEN FOR THIS PRICE. THE LCD SCREEN IS VERY GOOD AND CLEAR, THE CAMERA IS VERY FUN AND EASY TO USE. ALL THE PEOPLE THAT COMPLAINED ABOUT BATTERY LIFE, LET ME SAY ALL CAMERA'S EAT BATTERIES, SO THIS CAMERA EATS BATTERIES LIKE ALL OTHER DIGITAL CAMERA'S. THERE ARE OTHER CAMERA'S IN THE SAME PRICE RANGE, BUT FOR YOUR BOTTOM DOLLAR THIS CAMERA HAS MORE FUNCTIONS AND EXTRA'S THAT MAKE IT WELL WORTH IT! ... GET THIS VERY WELL MADE CAMERA FAST!!!

(3 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Aug

PDC-700 is a good camera for the price, however battery consumption and flash memory slot are two problems I am faced with. This camera devour batteries like there is no tomorrow, fully charged rechargeable batteries will last maybe full day. The other problem is the memory slot will not keep the flash card in place, whenever I turn on the camera error message will come up, "Card Error". I have to remove the card and push it back in to clear the error message. Other than that not a bad camera for the price. To avoid buying batteries constantly I have to remove the batteries from the camera when I am not using it, such a pain but the only way.

I got this camara just a few days ago and already love it! The pictures are great! Can take pictures of my kids and it's like I could reach out and touch them.Great for their grandparents who live far away.We did not need any manuals to figure it out.On the box,a red sticker states Now includes USB.Would highly recommend this for a first time digital camara user.Even my kids-5 and 3-can take great pictures.

My husband gave me this camera for Christmas. I loved it. The ease of taking pictures is great. The problem was in trying to transfer the pictures to my computer. The kit only contained a serial port for hook-up. My computer only has usb ports. From what I understand the serial port is older and the usb port is newer to technology. I have tried contacting Polaroid all day by phone, and also by computer, but have been unable to reach them. And my pictures are still inside the camera not able to print them due to poor supplies from the Palaroid company. If someone from the company should read this please call me. I'm listed with yahoo. I also tried to purchase a converter in Bowling Grenn KY @ several stores but none of them carry that particular converter. They claimed it was a common problem, but they couldn't stock the converters! Can somone explain that to me?
