This is a wonderful, space saveing system, with an awsome sound. The small wood finish speakers fits in wonderfuly without being distracting. They put out great, clear sound covering the full range. contrary to the tech data this system can handle 3 inputs 2 for MD players (one digital optical) and a vidio in, which are both on one button that isn't even on the remote but about the only draw back to this system. its great for small spaces when you want big sound. has great looks and better sound. Can't go wrong with a Sony.

It is beatifully finished, compact with heavy bass and crystalline treble. User friendly controls. Another success from Sony.

This stereo is awesome! I added two more sony book self speakers. It powers them well. Also, everyone who's heard them say's they have awesome bass, which they do! I just which they had a few more watts...

Despite being the previous model of Sony's entry-level micro-size HiFi stereo system, this unit offers a really good bang for the buck! It sounds wonderful, gets very very loud for those times you want it so, (despite it's rather weak wattage) and includes interfaces for Video and MD as well. Even a digital connection for the MD! Very stylish, good sounding. If you can find this cheap and in good condition, get it!
