(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Dec 7, 2001I just purchased this Sony Boom Box, and it is great! It is a handsome design, but more importantly the sound is terrific. I am pleased in every way. I am seriously considering ordering an additional unit for elsewhere in the house.

Quality Sound
(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Feb 27, 2001Prefer this boom box to my Bose radio. Has a convenient remote and doubles as a clock radio with a sleep control. Like particularly the extended bass and the other five tone settings. Controls are up front and is CD front load with the tape on top. Although a chunky box, the design diminishes its thick look. Really worth the money.

Great choice if you're looking for a high-end portable!

Not wanting to make the same mistake twice, this time I looked for quality as well as value. It's simple to use, has great sound, is easy to carry around and doesn't take up much space on my desk. I couldn't ask for a better model to play my Spanish and French CD's and tapes on!
