Nice Phone

I take it to the adjacent building next to me and it's crystal clear, even with having hundreds of cell phone users around here. I thank Sony for making one of their good products affordable this time.

Sony's Best Telephone Ever!

It is the best phone I ever bought and highly recommend it for its' ease of operation, great keypad (it's lighted) and excellent crisp reception. Sony has made a true winner!

Great phone, great price
(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Dec 15, 1999I have always loved my Sony products, but had a little dose of sticker shock at the same time. This Sony cordless phone is not only a GREAT value, but a great phone with crystal clear audio, long range, and easy-to-use features.

This set is clear, long life in the battery (sometimes my kids forget to hang it up and it will go for a day or two off the base and it still works), looks good (silver/gray), has the ear piece that sort of moves to settle close to your ear, and we can use it in the yard, on the deck, in the garage, etc..
We have wireless computer connections and have not had a problem with interference. In fact, the funny thing is, I was on amazon looking for a new phone to replace the kitchen phone and found the sony here. I didn't know they still made them!
The only downside is that the base takes up space. We have it in our family room on an end table. But need something smaller to sit in the kitchen area.
I recommend this telephone to anyone who needs a basic phone that will last and last.
