Better than SONY's VEGA

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Sep 19, 1999
I have this TV for over a year now. I've bought for $950 brand new and it is certainly nice to see that the price did not drop. I have compared it to SONY VEGA TV but the colour representation was better on the Panasonic. A solid good buy. I use it with my DVD and after a year I can't complain yet.

an excellent value. I did lots of shopping and this set is the best combination of quality and price. stunning colors

My only complaint is it doesnt come with component video. other than that an excellent overall TV. I would recommend it to anyone.

beats SONY WEGA

I compared this TV with the 32" SONY WEGA and couldn'ttell the difference in the picture. I could tell the difference in thePRICE! I chose this 32" television over other similar priced 36" televisions because of the upgraded features and the value. I used the S-Video connection to my AVR for my DVD and satellite. Unbelievable picture! If you have $1000 to spend on a TV buy this 32" TV before you by a 36" TV.

Panasonic CT32SF36 wins over Sony Wega 32".

(5 out of 5) by Dave on Mar 3, 2000 (Denver, Colorado)
I too compared this set with the Sony Wega 32" and went with the Panasonic. Picture quality is equivalent to the Wega and the price is certainly more reasonable. The set's lack of component video inputs did give me pause, but I wasn't willing to pay the premium for the Sony merely for that advantage. I hate the remote that came with the Panasonic because of the aggravating joy stick-like "action" key it has. I replaced the remote very quickly. But don't let the remote aspect sway you from what's an excellent television.

Doesn't get any better

One of the best flatscreen TV's I have seen. An excellent picture combined with outstanding audio provides a great entertainment system. The additional toys (PIP etc) help liven up those times when there is really nothing worth watching.
