Coffee, D & D and the Fallen CD.
Another work day, Dunkin Donuts Java, a toasted Coconut Donut, and John Coltrane on the Portable CD. Walking out of the local D&D I felt a tap on my shoulder. Startled I quickly turned around. A pretty lady was pointing toward the ground. To my amazement and embarrasement the CD player was trailing behind me. The player never skipped a beat. I was totally unaware that the player had fallen out of my CD case. The player is superb. I use it in the car, on the train, while jogging. It has not skipped yet. If you want a reliable, great sounding CD player this is the one.

For the money, this is an excellent player; NO SKIPPING!
This player has the best of all worlds. Unbelieveable battery life (at least 20 hours WITH anti-skip turned on), an absolutely extra-terrestrial anti-skip feature with an amazing 40 sec. memory, plus all the usual programming modes. The quality of the headphones may be less than the best. This is the smallest and slimmest personal cd player I've ever had. You won't know it is in your pocket. PANASONIC DOES IT AGAIN!

Really stands up to the punishment
I was really anxious to test this one out. The old player I had skipped ALL the time. We all know how annoying that is! Well, this unit really stands up to some severe punishment! The only time I got it to skip was when I was running at about 10 mph for over a minute with the unit only sitting in my shorts pocket. The player was flopping hard against my leg which I would not normally let happen. These units may have anti-skip technology; but that doesn't mean that the components can't eventually be thrown out of whack by careless use! When I held the player in my hand, I ran as fast as I could and was shaking it up and down REALLY wildly to the point where I could see the cd stop! Even in doing this, I kept on hearing my tunes! I think the unit and it's easy-to-use features are excellent; but the headphones are WAY to big and funky! The only way I could appreciate the players also excellent sound quality was through purchasing a different set of better sealed, smaller earpieces. Overall, I would quickly and confidently recommend this one to anyone looking for a great cd player to use while working out, running or anything involving lots of bumps, jolts or other harsh movements. This player will help keep you rolling! Another note: My order with Amazon.com came VERY quickly too. Thanks Amazon!

Panasonic Does It Again!
It seems Panasonic can do no wrong. I recently purchased Panasonic's SL-SX500 model CD Player, and although it differs slightly in shape from the SL-S360, the basic principles are the same: high quality for a low price. Unlike Sony's over-priced Discman's, the Panasonic CD Player line-up features great pricing with incrdeible playback options. I was especially impressed with the slim design of the unit, as well as the overall weight ( you can hardly feel anything ). Of course, Panasonic has included all of its playback features, including random, resume, repeat one/all, three different EQ settings, as well as 24 tracks of programmable memory...not to mention a whopping 40 seconds of electronic memory ( compare that to Sony's 20 seconds ). Your music will never skip! Finally, with a pop-up disc eject system, and a built-in battery charger, the SL-SX500 or any other Panasonic CD Player model, is simply put...the only Portble CD Player you will ever need. Total reliability and musical satisfaction garunateed. Way to go, Panasonic!

the best running partner EVER
I am an avid runner. I've used tape players for many years, but missed not being able to repeat a song or play the album in a random order. I've tried other "antiskip" CD players over the years, but this is the first one that actually works! The first time I used it, I tried to run as smoothly and gently as I could for fear of making the CD skip. To my amazement it didn't skip at all; even after I ran my normal jarring cadence. I recommend this to any runner who prefers the ease of listening to a CD rather than a radio, tape. I couldn't believe how lightweight it was the first time I put it on. The only advice I have is to wear the CD player on your abdomen instead of your lower back. At least that's where I found it to work the best...HAPPY RUNNING!
