Jensen JF25 Stereo Headphones

(5 out of 5) by W. Austin on Oct 9, 2009 (Oroville, CA.)
These headphones truly give rich, quality sound. I ordered 2 pair and my Son liked them so much, he talked me out of a pair, so I am ordering a 3rd pair. I highly recommend them. They are very reasonably priced too! I have paid $79 for a pair before that did not sound as well.

Really Nice Headphones at a Really Nice Price!

I bought these headphones because I often watch Netflix movies on my laptop, and also am suffering from a little bit of hearing loss. I read the reviews on here, and decided to give these a try. I already had a pair of similar headphones from Radioshack - they probably cost more, in fact, but using them, I still had trouble hearing some of the movies. The other headphones are supposed to have "volume control", too, but I never found it helpful, really - it basically just seemed to go from mute to loudest, and the loudest wasn't enough. I've also gone through several other types of headphones, but none of them helped me hear the things I wanted to hear all that much, thus the purchase of the ones with "volume control".

I tried these headphones out as soon as I received them, and there was a noticeable difference in sound quality and volume. The volume control actually does control the volume, too! They are much, much clearer in sound, and I've now watched several movies with them, and had no problem at all with hearing the dialogue. I've tried them side-by-side with my old ones, and there's no doubt that the sound quality is better on these - better, clearer, crisper, and even louder when I need them to be. I've found that with the better sound quality, I don't need more volume.

I was expecting to pay a lot more for headphones that would actually help me, but after reading the reviews on here, I'm glad I decided to give these a try. I don't find the volume control difficult to use at all - it's actually quite easy for me.

I didn't think I really needed the long cord, but it just might come in handy - these headphones are so good I'm going to start using them when I watch TV late at night - I usually have the volume up quite high, and I probably wake my tenants at times - these headphones will solve that, too.

I can say for a fact that for me, these headphones have been a minor miracle. I didn't think I would ever find something that would allow me to hear ALL the dialogue from the movies I watch - I was used to missing parts here and there. Now I no longer have to settle for that, which makes me VERY happy! I can't recommend these highly enough to anyone who has the same problem I have, or just to anyone who's looking for a quality set of headphones at a very good price!

Five years old and still pumping out the music!!

You cannot find a better set of speakers for the money. I have had these for five years with no problems and they are still the same as when I bought them. There is a handy volume control on the speaker cord. Buy these and you won't regret it.

Great sound and value, but hurts my ears

(4 out of 5) by J. Beaver on Jun 21, 2004 (Mayaguez, Puerto Rico)
Pros:
- Great sound (for its class)
- Nice long cord (not to short, not too long)

Cons:
- It feels like my ears are going to fall off after wearing them for thirty minutes.

If comfort is no issue, then these are the best cheap headphones around.
