A good phone at a good price

(5 out of 5) by Benjamin Lukoff on Aug 21, 2002 (Seattle)
I've had this phone for about eight months and have had no problems so far. Reception is fine a good distance away from the base; I can go down to the mailbox or the laundry room or the parking lot of my apartment and still be able to talk. Battery life is good--basically, this is a fine phone at a fine price. It's not fancy, but who needs fancy? If you want a good, basic, cordless phone, you could do much worse than this.

Terrible static

I have two of these phones and the reception on both of them is horrible.

Great basic phone

(4 out of 5) by Jeffrey Morse on Mar 11, 2003 (Oroville CA USA)
I've owned this phone for two years now and have been very impressed with it's call quality. The incoming sound is great - just about like a corded phone. The phone is static free in my two bedroom apartment. The keys have a nice solid feel and the handset has a nice weight to it (feels comfortable for long calls). I've changed the battery once (it does need charging every other day). It does have one weird problem. Sometimes it doesn't ring on the first ring. I highly recommend it for a cheap basic phone. ... I know it's discontinued, but it's still widely available on the internet new.

Does not hold up

I have had this phone for about six months, and although the reception is fine, the buttons don't work well anymore. Sometimes when I press a number, nothing happens. Sometimes pressing once makes it dial twice. I hope they let me return it.
